a collaboration of faith Communities
Interfaith Human Services was founded in 1968 by a handful of congregations. These communities of faith knew they could accomplish more together in their effort to help low-income families.
Our congregations select members to serve on our board of directors. They provide volunteers, as well as financial support through donations, collections for special purposed, congregational dinners, fundraising events such as Gospel sing nights, yard sales, and they ring bells during our annual holiday Wishing Well campaign.
Our congregations make our mission possible. We couldn't do it without them!
