Many people seek way to help those they see are in need in their community. IHS does that every day. It's what this organization was created to do: help our neighbors in need. That assistance comes in many forms. Sometimes it means creating opportunities; sometimes it means joining what's already happening because of others' great ideas.

Here are two exciting opportunities where your help can make a difference.

charity event to support the displaced residents who still seek permanent housing.

CentreGives.org
 
On May 22 & 23, Interfaith Human Services (IHS) will participate in Centre Gives, a 36-hour online giving event sponsored by Centre Foundation.

From 6 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, to 6 p.m. Thursday, May 23, donors can visit CentreGives.org to help Interfaith Human Services (IHS) raise funds that will further IHS’s mission of helping our neighbors in need.

Donations will be matched with $100,000 from Centre Foundation and will also make IHS eligible for additional prize money. Optional line: Last year, IHS raised over $4400 during Centre Gives; with the support of the community, we hope to raise more in 2013!
