Sally was having trouble managing her very limited income. Because the budget was so tight, Sally found that even a few dollars for an occasional splurge could put her account over the available funds. Her monthly charges for insufficient funds were adding up as each month's charges compiled from the previous month's poor choices. Fortunately, Sally was referred by a friend to IHS’s Financial Care Money Management Program. With the guidance of one of our case managers, Sally had paid all of her bills on time, kept her checking account in the black AND managed to save a few hundred dollars in just a few short months. Now, she knows that her life will be better because she is learning the skills she needs to make good decisions that will help her be financially stable.
